Synopsis
Misha, I find myself grinning as I read her letter. She longs for me.
My instructor paired us up with pen pals. The other instructor partnered me up with Ryen, one of her students, thinking she was a girl because I had a name like Misha. My teacher concurred, thinking Ryen was a boy like myself. We were quickly able to recognise the error. We started debating everything. The top pizza for delivery. iPhone versus Android. Regardless of whether Eminem is the best rapper ever.It was the beginning. It was us for the seven years. Her letters are consistently written in silver ink on black paper. She is the one person who can talk me down, keep me on course, and accept me for who I am. There were just three of them. No social media, no contact information, and no images. We had a successful situation. Why mess it up? until I come upon a girl’s picture online. Ryen, who adores her iPhone and Gallo’s pizza, goes by that name. Are there any chances? I have to talk to her. I just don’t anticipate hating what I discover. Ryen In the past three months, he has not written. Uncertainty exists. Is he dead? I’m going nuts without him here. He might never return.
About the book
The protagonists of Punk 57 are Ryen and Misha, two buddies who were unintentionally paired as pen pals when they were young. Since then, despite never having met, they have been inseparable, exchanging letters and sharing everything. Till suddenly, a horrific catastrophe occurs, Misha doesn’t respond. Masen, a new student at Ryen’s school, tries everything in his power to harass and humiliate her, so she can no longer maintain a perfect public picture of herself. Only Ryen is unaware that Masen is really Misha. Together, we were ideal. The phrase that best sums up this novel is “until we met.” Ryen is everything Ryen told him she despises: popular and basically a bitch. She is not as humble as she had appeared to be in her letters. Misha feels as though he never even met her. Because the female lead in the majority of bully romances is typically an introvert, I adore the fact that the main character is a popular student. It’s unfortunate that she’s pretending to be someone she’s not just to avoid being alone and rejected, but I know that a lot of young girls share that sentiment. She experienced a light up and is afraid to be herself for fear of returning to her previous state of isolation. But, Misha is bound to show up and save the day—after all, friends are for that, right? She had a glow up, but it was more social than physical, so she can’t be herself because she’s afraid of being what she was before: alone. But, Misha is bound to show up and save the day—after all, friends are for that, right?

Characters
Ryen Travarrow: In an effort to blend in and get through her senior year of high school, Ryen has transformed into the stereotypical cruel girl. She keeps her family at a distance and conceals a number of her genuine interests, with the exception of Misha, a pen buddy from elementary school. Yet Misha stalks Ryen, and no one has responded to her letters.
Misha Lare: Misha was raised in a wealthy home with a single mom, a small sister, and other family members. As is frequently the case, one sibling misbehaves while the other obsessively strives for perfection in order to gain attention. Misha’s only possessions are his pen pal and his music. Misha is compelled to attend a promotion party for his band, and luck favours him when, during a picture scavenger hunt, he overhears a girl being called Ryen. Le sigh. Despite their pact to never interact or look each other up, Ryen surprises Misha by not being what he had anticipated.
Punk 57 quotesÂ
- I’m going to hell. I’m pretty sure she’d going to drag me there herself.
- I have no life there if you’re not in it. You’re part of everything good I’ve ever done, Ryen. Please.
