Affiliate & Partner Policy

This Affiliate & Partner Policy governs the terms under which individuals, organizations, creators, influencers, institutions, or businesses (“Affiliate”,
“Partner”, “you”) collaborate with Bookbins Private Limited (“Bookbins”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to promote books, services, events, or related offerings.

By participating in any affiliate or partnership program with Bookbins, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Purpose of the Affiliate & Partner Program

The Affiliate & Partner Program is designed to:

  • Promote books, authors, and publishing services
  • Expand outreach through ethical collaborations
  • Enable commission-based or value-based partnerships
  • Build long-term professional associations

Participation does not create an employer–employee, agency, or joint venture relationship.

2. Eligibility

Affiliates or partners must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have legal capacity to enter into agreements
  • Maintain ethical, lawful, and professional conduct
  • Comply with applicable laws, advertising standards, and platform policies

Bookbins reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

3. Nature of Partnership

Affiliates and partners may promote:

  • Books published or distributed by Bookbins
  • Publishing, marketing, or event services
  • Campaigns, launches, or curated content

The scope, duration, and commercial terms are defined through:

  • Written agreements
  • Email confirmations
  • Program-specific terms

4. Commissions & Payments (If Applicable)

  • Commission rates, payout thresholds, and payment cycles are defined separately
  • Commissions are calculated on net realized revenue, excluding taxes,
    refunds, and chargebacks
  • Payments are processed after verification and subject to applicable deductions
  • Affiliates are responsible for their own tax liabilities

No commission is payable on fraudulent, cancelled, or refunded transactions.

5. Promotional Guidelines

Affiliates and partners must:

  • Use only approved promotional material
  • Avoid false, misleading, or exaggerated claims
  • Clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required by law or platform rules
  • Follow ethical advertising and consumer protection standards

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Fake reviews or testimonials
  • Spam or unsolicited promotions
  • Misuse of Bookbins’ brand, logo, or intellectual property
  • Paid ads using Bookbins’ brand name without permission

6. Intellectual Property Usage

  • Bookbins may grant limited permission to use logos, creatives, or brand assets
  • Such usage is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable
  • All intellectual property remains the sole property of Bookbins

Unauthorized use may result in immediate termination and legal action.

7. Confidentiality

Affiliates and partners must:

  • Maintain confidentiality of non-public business information
  • Not disclose commission structures, internal strategies, or sensitive data

Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the partnership.

8. Termination of Partnership

Bookbins reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate affiliate or partner relationships without prior notice
  • Withhold unpaid commissions in case of policy breach, fraud, or misconduct

Affiliates may also terminate participation by providing written notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bookbins shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of income, reputation, or opportunity
  • Technical issues affecting tracking or reporting

Liability, if any, shall be limited to unpaid commissions legitimately due.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction vested in the courts of Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

11. Policy Modifications

Bookbins reserves the right to amend this Affiliate & Partner Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
