The Plot of the Book

However, Molly finds Giselle waiting for her at home, and she confesses that she and Mr. Black had a fight before his death and that she had hidden a gun in the bathroom. She requests that Molly retrieve the gun. Molly tries to retrieve it with the help of Rodney, the barman, but is charged with theft and first-degree murder the very next day. Molly gets bail with the help of Charlotte, Mr. Preston’s daughter. As things become clear to Molly, she is determined to find the real culprit. However, Molly recalls that she saw someone behind her through the mirror after she saw the dead body of Mr. Black. Who killed Mr. Black? Why didn’t Molly confess this to Mr. Stark?
